Stiftelsen Gräsöfonden

Gräsöfonden supports activities that preserve and develop Gräsön’s natural and cultural environments, including buildings, pastures, meadows and fields. We also support activities conveying knowledge of, and appreciation for the island’s many values.

A board with local and regional representatives makes the decisions in the fund. It was formed in 1995 by the Upplandsstiftelsen and Östhammar municipality. Since then, the fund has been replenished through generous gifts and welcome project contributions. In the ongoing work, the board is supported by a working group.
